Designed to meet the rigorous demands of modern R&D laboratories, the semiconductor industry, automotive, and wireless telecommunications, this series combines extreme bandwidth with unprecedented resolution and flexibility.









The SDG8000A series generators offer up to 4 independent analog channels, supporting a maximum output frequency of 5 GHz thanks to an interpolated sampling rate of a massive 12 GSa/s. The 16-bit vertical resolution ensures ultra-high fidelity signal reconstruction, minimizing noise floor and distortion.

The SDG8000A supports a sampling rate of 10 G (with interpolation) or 12 G (with interpolation). The 16-bit vertical resolution ensures a high-quality restored signal.

This instrument is equipped with a built-in digital modulator that allows direct radio frequency (RF) output up to 5 GHz, eliminating the need for an external modulator. Paired with the powerful SigIQPro software, this configuration offers a simplified method to create and output signals for a wide range of communication standards, including 5G NR, LTE, WLAN, Bluetooth, and IoT.
The maximum baseband data rate of the SDG8000A is 5 GSa/s, and the maximum modulation bandwidth of the signal can reach 2 GHz using the internal modulator. When outputting baseband and using an external modulator, a signal bandwidth of up to 4 GHz can be supported.

With its high data rate, the SDG8000A can generate narrow pulses down to 250 ps, making it ideal for the most demanding pulse testing applications in sectors such as semiconductors and automotive.

The SDG8000A supports high-speed serial code output with low jitter up to 1.25 Gbps, and is capable of simulating high-speed serial digital communication tests.

The maximum waveform storage space per channel is 4 Gpts. At the maximum sampling rate, the waveform can be played back for 800 ms without sacrificing signal bandwidth, thus meeting the testing requirements of the most complex scenarios.

The SDG8000A supports editing and playback functions for multi-level sequence waveforms (segment, sequence, and scenario), as well as flexible settings for playback control, simplifying the creation of complex sequence waveforms.

The built-in multi-pulse, multi-tone, and chirp functions make running professional tests easier and more efficient.
