The calibrated spring impact mechanism within the D814 handle ensures that the wire is seated to the exact depth inside the terminal clip, securing long-term contact reliability and preventing data signal attenuation. The EverSharp™ 110 blade is fully reversible (one side to seat and cleanly cut excess wire, reverse side for seating only) and delivers threefold cutting longevity. The handle includes Hi/Low force regulation and spare blade storage.
