Laser welding is the most advanced method of joining various types of materials and is especially used for welding components where high welding speed is concentrated while maintaining high quality and precise welding without cracking, dirt, spilling and little deformation thermals of the surrounding material. ThermoInspector has been deployed in several companies that manufacture automotive components using laser welding. ThermoInspector is usually installed at the production line site where many individual plastic parts are welded. The solder temperature should be monitored at this stage of production as exceeding or not maintaining the solder temperature will result in a low quality part. The low-quality part must be removed from production because it is not fit for use or in extraordinary cases, if a low-quality product containing the low-quality part is produced, the product may be destroyed during transport, assembly or use. This results in financial losses, recoveries and, of course, serious security risks. The ThermoInspector system helps prevent all of these risks.

For example, with just one application of the ThermoInspector during the production of components for the automotive industry, two plastic parts are laser welded. Since this involves welding using laser-generated heat to join the two plastic parts together, it is logically recommended (or necessary) to control the temperature throughout the entire process. If the temperature is too low, the quality of the weld will be low and the welded parts may separate. If the temperature is too high, the production line can be physically damaged/stopped and the laser beam will ignite. In this scenario, the product would be ruled out as defective and would go to waste.
