The FiberLert detector acts like a non-contact voltage tester for fiber optics: simply place the probe tip in front of a connector, patch cord, or bulkhead port to instantly detect the presence of invisible optical wavelengths (spanning from 850 nm to 1625 nm) via visual and audible alerts. Together, these two tools allow crews to safely confirm whether a link is live before disconnecting it, while immediately locating mechanical breaks on dark or damaged lines.
