ProfiShark 1G is designed to enable field engineers to quickly get in the path of network packets. It is a portable network TAP that provides fail-safe access to networks for monitoring purposes, as well as long-term traffic collection.
ProfiShark 1G is non-intrusive, undetectable by the network, and leaves the original traffic unaltered. This helps you capture network data without impacting the security or performance of the network. Powered by USB 3.0, ProfiShark 1G captures high fidelity network traffic, with high resolution hardware timestamping, and packets of all sizes and types. The packets can in turn be analyzed with Wireshark or any network analyzer.
The ProfiShark series also includes other essential features, such as packet slicing, statistics, configuration options, and high-performance capture to disk, through our own ProfiShark Manager application.
