PicoScope 5000E and 5000E+ Series Oscilloscopes. 16-bit precision, bandwidth up to 500 MHz, sampling up to 5 GS/s, and mixed-signal MSO models.
The PicoScope 5000E oscilloscopes have been designed to offer absolute precision when it counts and speed when it is needed. Thanks to a native 16-bit resolution, these instruments guarantee exceptional signal fidelity, indispensable for detecting minute anomalies that traditional oscilloscopes fail to capture.

The models in the PicoScope 5000E and 5000E+ family stand out for their exceptional analog design. They offer an extremely low noise floor (just 23 µV RMS) and an incredible dynamic range greater than 73 dB. The 5000E+ models add further versatility by allowing you to combine the ultra-high precision of 16-bit with the pure speed of a native 8-bit mode.
16-bit Resolution: Precision Where It Counts The true strength of the 5000E Series lies in its hardware 16-bit architecture. With over 65,000 quantization levels (compared to the 256 of a standard 8-bit oscilloscope), these instruments offer minimal noise and unprecedented accuracy. They are the perfect solution for audio signal analysis, precision power electronics, and decoding complex serial buses where even the slightest voltage variation is critical.
PicoScope 5000E+: The Total Alternative If your applications require high frequencies in addition to pure precision, the "Plus" models (5000E+) offer a unique technological advantage: besides the 16-bit analytical measurement mode, they integrate an 8-bit mode capable of pushing the bandwidth up to 500 MHz, elevating the sampling rate to 5 GS/s and doubling the exceptional memory buffer up to 2 GigaSamples.
Mixed Signal Analysis (MSO) and AWG Generator The entire range is available in MSO (Mixed Signal Oscilloscope) versions, adding 16 digital logic channels with a 100 MHz input frequency and two independent thresholds. Each unit is also equipped with a powerful arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) up to 20 MHz (with amplitude steps of just 0.3 mV), eliminating the need and clutter of expensive separate instruments on the test bench.
