Up to 3600 W, two independent channels, and compact 1U form factor

Rohde & Schwarz redefines the standard for high-performance DC power supplies with the new NGT3600 series. Designed for the most demanding applications in labs and automated test systems (ATE), these instruments offer a unique combination of power, flexibility, and compactness.

The NGT3600 series stands out for its high-density architecture: in a single 1U rack chassis, it is possible to have one or two fully independent outputs, each capable of delivering up to 1800 W. Thanks to Autoranging technology, each channel can provide maximum power over a wide range of voltages (up to 80 V) and currents (up to 50 A), adapting perfectly to the needs of the device under test (DUT).

Key Features

  • Up to 3600 W in 1U: Maximum power density to save valuable rack space.
  • Two independent channels (mod. NGT3622): Each channel is galvanically isolated and floating, allowing you to power two separate DUTs or combine the outputs.
  • Autoranging: Get maximum power (1800 W per channel) over a wide operating range, not limited to a single V/I curve.
  • 4.3" Touchscreen: Intuitive high-resolution interface for quick and precise control.
  • Channel Fusion & Multi-Device: Connect channels in series (up to 160 V) or parallel (up to 100 A) internally, or synchronize up to 6 channels across multiple instruments.
  • Advanced Functions: Arbitrary waveform generator (QuickArb), voltage ramp (EasyRamp), integrated data logging, and high-precision measurements.
