It is specifically designed to simultaneously clean both ferrules of an LC Duplex connector (or two adjacent LC bulkhead ports) with a single, seamless push action.
Traditional single-port cleaners force technicians to perform two separate maneuvers on a duplex connector, increasing the risk of bending adjacent fibers in congested rack cabinets. The tool tip aligns perfectly with the LC Duplex form factor geometry: with one push, the internal mechanism automatically advances and spins a lint-free micro-denier cleaning thread, lifting off dirt, skin oil, and dust from both optical cores in a fraction of a second.
