GW Instek presents SPS-A, the advanced generation of switching DC power supplies designed to replace and improve the previous SPS series. With a total power of 360 W, the range includes five models perfect for meeting the needs of research laboratories, educational institutions, and production lines.
The new power supplies offer a much more intuitive interface, greater control precision, and advanced protection features to safeguard both the instrument and the device under test (DUT).
Intuitive Control and High Precision
The SPS-A series models feature a digital encoder control knob and a bright 2.4-inch color TFT LCD display, allowing for quick adjustments and immediate visual feedback. The setting resolution reaches 10 mV / 10 mA, while the readback resolution goes down to 1 mV / 1 mA, ensuring extremely accurate and stable measurements in any test environment.
Advanced Features and Comprehensive Protection
To effectively compensate for voltage drops on connecting cables, the series integrates the Remote Sensing function with 2-wire/4-wire switching, ensuring the load receives exactly the desired voltage. Operational safety is guaranteed by the built-in OVP (Over-Voltage), OCP (Over-Current), and OTP (Over-Temperature) protection mechanisms.
In addition to these safety features, there is a dedicated key for Output On/Off control and a convenient Panel Lock function that prevents accidental changes during long-term testing. The instrument also allows you to quickly save and recall the most frequently used configurations via three preset memories (M1, M2, M3).
