The Fluke FI-500 FiberInspector Micro video microscope allows network technicians to inspect fiber optic connector end-faces quickly, intuitively, and with outstanding visual sharpness. It is engineered to simplify the detection of dirt, scratches, pits, and contamination on connectors inside patch panels or patch cords—the primary cause of signal loss and failures across industrial and data center optical networks.
The instrument features a compact 3.2-inch color display and an ergonomic probe equipped with fast manual and auto-focus capabilities. Its standout feature is integrated PortBright™ illumination, a built-in LED flashlight on the probe that illuminates dark, high-density fiber patch panels, allowing technicians to immediately locate the correct port before inserting the inspection tip.
