Metcal MX-5250 system brings the power of the MX-5200 series to through-hole desoldering. Combining the 80 W dual simultaneous output power supply with SmartHeat® technology, the unit ensures thermal control at the molecular level. Thanks to the dedicated handpiece and instantaneous thermal recovery, the station removes solder from multi-layer boards and lead-free alloys in total safety, while keeping the second port free for an additional tool.

Features and Benefits:
- A built-in Net Power Meter displays a graphical and numerical representation of the power applied to the cartridge.
- User Programmable Power Save Mode: the time to enter Power Save Mode is adjustable from 10 to 120 minutes.
- Ground Fault Interrupt: AC ground monitor detects power line ground failures and immediately alerts the operator and shuts down the system.
- Universal Power Supply: automatically senses the input line voltage and adjusts accordingly, which allows for worldwide operation without adaptors or a change in performance.
