SmartHeat® technology is based on a fixed-temperature system that automatically and dynamically regulates power levels during every operation. This guarantees process control at a molecular level, allowing soldering and rework to be performed always at safe, constant, and precise temperatures. This level of stability is complemented by Connection Validation™ technology, which revolutionizes the way solder joint quality is evaluated by calculating the actual formation of the intermetallic compound (IMC).
