Discover the new Rigol DNA5000 and DNA6000 series modular vector network analyzers. Performance up to 26.5 GHz in a compact 2 or 4-port format for ultra-high precision RF measurements.

RIGOL introduces the DNA5000 and DNA6000 series, the new generation of vector network analyzers (VNA) designed to offer flexibility, portability, and high performance in a compact format. With a frequency range starting from 5 kHz up to 26.5 GHz, these solutions offer superior stability with a dynamic range >120 dB and integrated tools such as TDR analysis and Smith charts, along with advanced USB/LAN/HDMI connectivity. This design allows for control via external displays, PCs, or integration into automated test systems (ATE), optimizing space in research and production laboratories.

Both series offer an exceptional dynamic range (up to 127 dB typical) and support a wide variety of mechanical and electronic calibrations (ECal), ensuring precise, stable, and repeatable RF and microwave measurements for characterizing passive and active components.

DNA5000 Series: 2-Port Precision

DNA5000 series represents the ideal solution for 2-port VNA tests. Lightweight (only 5.3 kg) and compact, it covers maximum frequency ranges of 4.5 GHz, 8.5 GHz, 14 GHz, 20 GHz, and 26.5 GHz depending on the model. It offers an excellent trace noise of 0.005 dB and a frequency resolution of 1 Hz, making it perfect for education, R&D, and the production of standard radio frequency devices.

DNA6000 Series: Up to 4 Ports and Extreme Performance

DNA6000 series is designed for the most demanding and complex applications. In addition to covering the same frequency ranges (up to 26.5 GHz), it introduces the option to choose 4-port models, which are essential for the complete characterization of multi-port networks, mixers, balanced filters, and differential amplifiers. The hardware is further optimized, ensuring trace noise lowered to just 0.003 dB for maximum measurement stability.

Specifications Comparison and Main Differences

Both DNA5000 and DNA6000 series offer an extraordinary dynamic range (127 dB typical) and an output power up to 10 dBm. Both integrate Time Domain Analysis (TDA), support for advanced calibrations, and convenient control via Web Control and SCPI. The choice between the two series primarily depends on the need to perform simultaneous multi-port measurements (4-port models are only available in the DNA6000 series) and the level of trace noise precision required by the test setup.
