The Fluke FI-500TP-ALCF inspection tip is the dedicated optical accessory for the FI-500 FiberInspector Micro video microscope, engineered to accurately inspect fiber optic terminations featuring an APC (Angled Physical Contact) polish located inside bulkhead adapters and ultra-high-density optical rack enclosures utilizing small-form-factor LC interfaces.
High-Density (HD) LC patch panels offer extremely limited maneuvering space. The FI-500TP-ALCF tip, combined with the probe's exclusive built-in PortBright™ LED orientation flashlight, slides seamlessly into optical cassettes, guiding the 8-degree angled optics directly onto the 1.25 mm fiber core. This allows contractors to instantly spot dust or oil residues left behind by factory dust caps prior to network service activation.
