Rohde & Schwarz MXO5-K333 Three-Phase Power Analysis Option
The R&S MXO5-K333 option introduces 3-phase power analysis on Rohde & Schwarz MXO 5 series oscilloscopes. Designed for complex, dynamic systems, it fully leverages the instrument's fast processing and deep memory to capture a high density of events.
This software option supports power and harmonic measurements for both star (wye) and delta configurations. It allows for easy application of the 2-wattmeter method (2V2A 3-phase 3-wire systems) and the 3-wattmeter method (3V3A 3-wire or 3VN3A 4-wire systems).
Power Quality and Harmonics:
- Measured parameters: Active power (P), reactive power (Q), apparent power (S), power factor, crest factor, phase angle, RMS voltage, and RMS current.
- Harmonics analysis: Compliance testing to the IEC 61000-3-2 standard for equipment, with calculation and graphical display (linear or logarithmic) up to the 40th harmonic.
- Display and UI: Dedicated user interface to configure sources, display the power waveform for a single phase or total power, and generate the phasor diagram for sinusoidal signals.
