Labestat 7804153 is a bi-layer ESD rubber mat designed to protect electronic workstations from electrostatic discharges (EPA). The double-layer structure simultaneously ensures controlled dissipation and perfect grounding, while the heat-resistant compound makes it suitable for manual soldering and rework operations.
Structure and materials
Top layer (dissipative, semi-matte blue): Rs = 1 × 10⁷ – 1 × 10⁹ Ω – anti-glare finish for improved visual comfort.
Bottom layer (conductive, black): Rs = 1 × 10⁴ – 1 × 10⁵ Ω – ensures rapid discharge to ground via cable and snap connector.
Both layers are made from high molecular weight NBR rubber, resistant to fluxes, acids, solvents, and soldering tips up to approx. 280 °C.
