Uscite multi-range
I canali di uscita di alcuni alimentatori Aim-TTi possono essere configurati per fornire una tensione massima maggiore o una corrente massima maggiore alla stessa potenza per adattarsi a diverse applicazioni estendendone la flessibilità. Ad esempio, le uscite MX100T possono essere 0-16 V fino a 6 A o 0-35 V fino a 3 A. Ciò significa che la tensione massima (qui 35V) e la corrente massima (qui 6A) non sono disponibili contemporaneamente in quanto si trovano in range differenti e bisogna fare attenzione nell'interpretare le specifiche. Nella serie MX, è possibile combinare più gamme con Power Sharing - vedere di seguito:
Condivisione dell'energia
Su alcuni alimentatori multicanale, i canali possono essere riconfigurati in modo che due canali siano cablati internamente per collegarsi agli stessi terminali di uscita in serie o in parallelo, fornendo rispettivamente il doppio della potenza e il doppio della tensione o il doppio della corrente. In queste configurazioni i terminali di uscita del secondo canale sono inutilizzati.
