The FEV300 kit with multifunction installation tester 1664 FC is a complete kit designed to test the operation and safety of Mode 3 AC charging stations. This test adapter simulates the presence of an electric vehicle, allowing tests to be performed in conjunction with the Fluke 1664 FC installation tester so that tests can be performed quickly and efficiently in compliance with all local regulations without opening the charging station. Use the FEV300 adapter to verify that the charging station is functioning properly after installation, during periodic maintenance, or troubleshooting if the station does not deliver the appropriate charge. With the adapter kit, charging stations can be tested in accordance with IEC/EN 61851-1 and IEC/HD 60364-7-722 standards.
Ability to perform seven installation tests in one sequence
The PE protective grounding pre-test of the FEV300 kit verifies the total absence of hazardous voltage at the ground terminal. Connect the 1664 FC tester to the FEV300 kit to automatically perform seven installation tests in a single sequence via a single connection. The 1664 FC tester performs the tests in compliance with all local regulations and allows the results to be shared in real time via smartphone using Fluke Connect Measurements.
Safety, simplicity and convenience
A variety of tests can be performed, including ground fault checks, cable insulation, voltage and duty cycle measurements to see the maximum current available for charging, all with a single adapter that integrates securely with Fluke's portfolio of test and measurement tools. There is no need at all to bring an electric vehicle on-site for charging station troubleshooting: the FEV300 adapter simulates an electric vehicle connected to a charging station to easily perform performance and maintenance-related tests.
