The Fluke PRO3000F50 Filtered Analog Probe is an advanced receiver unit engineered to solve the most frustrating challenge encountered while tracing wires inside modern buildings: electrical hum and interference induced by ambient AC power grids. This model incorporates an innovative electronic filtering circuit specifically calibrated to the 50 Hz frequency (the mains power grid standard across Europe, Asia, and most international regions).
By engaging the filter mode button, the PRO3000F50 probe instantly cancels out the loud 50 Hz acoustic background buzz caused by high-voltage power lines, fluorescent lighting, or electrical inverters running adjacent to the copper data cable being traced. This allows technicians to clearly hear only the tracing tone emitted by the generator (including SmartTone™ cadences) over the high-output loudspeaker, isolating target wires on the jobsite in a fraction of the normal time. It features a replaceable non-conductive tip and a 3.5 mm earphone jack.
