HT Instruments Macrotest G3 (HV005036) is a revolutionary and advanced multifunction instrument designed for comprehensive electrical safety testing in civil and industrial installations, fully complying with CEI 64-8 and IEC/EN61557-1 standards.
Featuring an innovative color TFT display with a capacitive touch-screen, it offers an entirely new user experience: the display visually presents all possible variables, and the operator simply "touches" the desired measurement, leaving the microprocessor to set up the test. Ensuring maximum simplicity, at the end of each safety test, the instrument immediately indicates regulatory compliance with a clear OK or NOT OK symbol.
Key Features:
- Safety Testing: Tests on RCDs (Type A, AC up to 1000 mA, B, B+, and F), insulation resistance, and continuity of protective conductors.
- Earth Resistance: 2- or 3-point voltammetric method (TT, TN, and IT systems), soil resistivity, and overall earth resistance (also via optional T2100 clamp).
- Advanced Loop Function: Verification of magnetothermic protections (MCB curves B, C, D, K) and fuses (gG, aM), including calculation of breaking capacity, tripping currents, I2t, and cable sizing.
- Single-Phase Power Analysis: Measurement of electrical parameters (V, A, W, VAR, VA, PF, harmonics), phase sequence (SEQ) verification, and leakage currents.
- Expandability: Compatible with external probes for environmental parameters (Lux, T/RH%), RCDX10 accessory for RCD tests up to 10A, and IMP57 for high-resolution Loop/Line impedance measurements (0.1mOhm).
